The route continues with the disturbing presences linked to two key figures of English Romanticism, Keats and Shelley, at the Spanish Steps. We then explore the dark legends linked to the Mausoleum of Augustus, concluding with the story of the ghostly apparitions on the Ponte di Castel Sant'Angelo.
